Organizing citizens and developing their leadership potential is the core of the Foundation’s programme. It works with an estimated 50,000 farmers, labour, students, teachers, lawyers, small and medium entrepreneurs, political workers and journalists. The Foundation gives special attention to working with women and the poor. It also works with elected representatives at the local level. Most of the citizens are organized in more than 1,000 citizen organizations of women and men across Pakistan, including over 500 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. They are the Foundation’s primary partners.
