On 21 May, 2017 chehlum Dua of Mashal was held in his native village Zaida Swabi. Using its strong roots within rural communities and its in-house technical expertise, the Foundation constructs or repairs gravity-flow supply schemes to provide drinking water in some of the poorest villages in the mountainous regions of Abbottabad. The workload of women was reduced as without supply mechanisms they were forced to walk for several hours to fetch water for domestic use.
